Ingredients:

  • 150g all-purpose flour
  • 100g sugar
  • 80g unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 50ml milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp culinary lavender
  • 50g honey
  • A pinch of salt
  • Buttercream frosting for decoration

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowls
  • Electric mixer
  • Cupcake pan
  • Piping bag
  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the milk, vanilla extract, and honey until combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, culinary lavender, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into a lined cupcake pan, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before decorating with buttercream frosting.
