Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup of grated cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 1/2 cup of milk

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl

  • Soufflé dish
  • Spatula

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and set aside.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg yolks with the butter until creamy.
  • Gradually add the flour, salt, and pepper to the yolks, then mix in the milk until smooth.
  • Fold the cheese into the yolk mixture and gently combine the beaten egg whites, being careful not to deflate them.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased soufflé dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden and puffed. Do not open the oven during cooking.
  • Once done, remove from oven and serve immediately for the best texture.
