Ingredients:

  • 200g of turkey breast
  • 50g of fresh rosemary
  • 50g of fresh thyme
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 150g of mashed potatoes
  • 30g of unsalted butter
  • 100ml of chicken broth
  • 50ml of olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Pot
  • Masher
  • Meat Thermometer
  • Roasting Pan

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine finely chopped rosemary, thyme, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to create a herb mixture.
  • Rub the herb mixture all over the turkey breast.
  • Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for about 90 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
  • While the turkey is roasting, bring a pot of water to a boil and add the potatoes.
  • Cook the potatoes until tender, then drain them and return to the pot.
  • Add butter and mash until smooth, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Once the turkey is done, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve the sliced turkey breast with garlic mashed potatoes on the side.
